Organizing ideas:
-
Take control of those mail catalogues. Create a spot in your home where you are most likely to flip through catalogues, and deposit catalogues there each day when you sort the mail. When you find an item you like, tear out the page with the item on it, and then recycle the catalogue. Place the torn-out pages with items you like in a folder called Wish List. When you have some extra time and money for shopping, or you have a birthday coming up, pull out your Wish List folder for perfect ideas.

Invest in lots of plastic containers in various sizes for storing children's toys. Throw out those broken cardboard game boxes (or store them in the plastic container along with the game pieces). Food storage containers and zip lock bags are perfect for small parts. See-through bins make it easy for children to identify toys. Once toys are organized, consider putting some in the attic or storage area and pulling them out in a few months. Rotating toys in this way can make them seem new to kids! |
